Do I need to pay for Cimpress Designer or the Print Fulfillment API?

Cimpress Designer and the Print Fulfillment API are free of charge. The only thing you pay for is the wholesale price of the products you sell.

I do not have a developer on staff. Can I still use Cimpress Open?

Cimpress Open offers a number of different channels to access our world-class fulfillment network and product customization services. One option is to leverage our Shopify or Magento (coming soon!) plug-ins as one path to access these services. We also have a network of trusted affiliates with whom we work regularly who we can recommend if you’re looking for a more customized integration to your storefront or app. If you’d like to get a recommendation for an affiliate, please email details about your desired integration to CimpressOpenSales@cimpress.com.

Can I obtain product samples?

We are happy to provide samples and typically offer these on a case by case basis via our Account Management team. For sample inquiries, please email CimpressOpenSales@cimpress.com. We also pride ourselves in very attractive pricing and most products are available at quantity 1 – we hope this allows you to test our API and sample our products yourself in a low risk way.

Can I change an order once it’s already submitted?

At this time, you cannot once they are submitted. However, often times it is possible to cancel an order after it is placed and then replace it with a new order. Alternatively, if you reach out to our support team, we may be able to update the order for you from our side – for these requests and all support, please contact WebServicesSupport@cimpress.com.

How are shipping rates determined?

We offer affordable, tiered, flat rate shipping based on the wholesale value of the products in your order. Get an instant quote on any order via our delivery options endpoint.

What kind of packaging are my products shipped in? Will customers know I’ve outsourced this to you?

All of our products are shipped ‘white-label’. There is no branding on the package, just an address.

How do I sell a customized t-shirt?

T-Shirts are an easy way to begin selling customized products! You can do so by selecting any T-Shirt products in or catalog and adding your design via the API. Then, simply add the T-Shirt to your storefront or app and begin selling.

What brands of apparel do you offer?

Right now we are offering Sportsman, Yupoong, Adidas, Featherlite, Bella + Canvas, JERZEES and Anvil. We are also regularly reviewing and adding to the product catalog.

How often do you add new products?

We are always adding new products to our catalog. Additionally, when our partners request a product we do not currently have, we have teams who will work to find that product at a great quality and competitive price.

What countries do you ship to?

Right now we ship to the US, Canada, Australia and all of Europe.

How long does it take to get orders fulfilled?

Once the order is submitted through the API the product begins fulfillment and will be delivered by or before the fixed shipping speed selected in the delivery options.

What happens if my customer order is damaged during shipping?

We strive to offer the highest quality experience and reliable, damage free shipping with every order. That said – mistakes happen from time to time. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order or your customer reports a problem, please supply your order number and details of what happened to WebServicesSupport@cimpress.com. We are happy to replace and remediate as needed.

What if my customer is not happy with the quality of the product?

Your business is our business. We want your customers to be happy with each product they receive. If for some reason a product arrives that is damaged, misprinted, or has any type of manufacturing or delivery error, we are happy to help replace and/or remediate. Please send the order number and details of what has happened to WebServicesSupport@cimpress.com. However, Cimpress Open is not responsible for typos, design submission errors or issues otherwise outside of the scope of our API and the services we offer.

What type of printers do you use?

We have a wide range of equipment from Komori, Manroland, Heidelberg, HP, Xerox, Durst and others. We also have an array of embroidery and textile printing equipment.

Where are your production facilities located?

We have production facilities all over the world including in the US, Canada, Australia and in several countries across Europe.

Do you ever outsource printing and production?

When it makes sense, we will consider outsourcing an order to one of our trusted partners. For example, if a customer has a unique product request that one of our partners is better equipped to fulfill, we will outsource production to that partner.
